Extremely addictive, Educational - it's historically and chronologically accurate you are given a brief description of the units you can recruit. You learn about significant advances in Technology, Philosophy, Government changes in the Roman Army all along the way as you play the game! The graphics, gameplay and AI are the best I've seen on any game of this sort. Value for Money - If you look in the right places you can pick it up for a tenner!
My system isn't the quickest so sometimes when I choose to fight a battle my comp crashes!
If you like strategy and or war gaming you will not be disappointed with Rome: Total War. I've played a few games on this level which are much newer in terms of release date, but are much behind the times in terms of graphics, playability, content and general all round quality really. That's what strikes you when you first start playing this game - it's quality.
