General Comments

Having lodged a claim for accidental damage to a shower cubicle in late January'07, I submitted the required quotations in March. My case was then passed to a firm of loss adjusters who visited my home on April 10th. Since then.........nothing! No phone call, no letter....nothing. I have called the Tesco Claims Department on 3 separate occasions, to be met with excuse after excuse, mainly regarding the length of time it takes to deal with the post! Firstly it was 5 days, then it was 5-7 days, then it was 10 days. Tesco received the loss adjuster's report on April 20th - 15 working days later and I have still heard nothing from Tesco's. Let's hope the strongly worded complaint letter gets things moving....if they have got round to opening it! Stick to selling groceries, Tesco, and let proper insurance companies deal with the art of insurance.
