Good Points

Great little box, had no problems whatsoever. Not sure why it's getting such negative reviews. I find it very easy to use, sound quality is great (I have it hooked up to a Yamaha 6.1 receiver) and dare I say sounds more dynamic than the Pace set top cable box downstairs and never gives me the grief the Pace does either. I wonder if other peoples misfortunes with this box have anything to do with signal quality or area coverage? The area we live in is very good for Freeview so maybe that's why everything is fine for us. Also, never had to re-tune, no freezing at all, very fast operation around the menu's and channel flicking.

Bad Points

None at all.

General Comments

I highly recommend this little Phillips Freeview box, good connectivity too by the way.

I found this review very helpful because it mirrors my findings on this particular digibox and reinforces my belief that factors outside of Philips' control are to blame for poor performance.
I find it inconceivable that a company of such standing as Philips would market such a dog as is claimed by other reviewers and anyway, after reading around, it seems that EVERY digibox on the market is not free from a bug of some kind. I hope your DTR200 gives you long and satisfactory service, Listy.
