Good Points

None really, apart from the particular sales rep that turned up. He was quite honest.


Bad Points

In my opinion, everything...Lack of co-ordination within the company. You could have 5 different team members contact you concerning the same matter. Twice they changed the total contract sum that we agreed. The first instance by £800, then by a further £500. Crazy!!!


General Comments

In November 2006, we agreed a total contract sum, signed, sealed and we were given an installation date for December 2006. My finance deal went through within days, and everything seemed in place. About mid December 2006, someone from Safestyle UK called me to request an additional £800 for scaffolding, or else the contract would not go ahead. It is important to note that there was nowhere on the survey that they indicated scaffolding was needed...The surveyor confirmed it would not be needed. I gave in after much argument, and a new survey was arranged in March 2007.

Everything went well, and the new finance documents were signed, and an installation date was given for April bank holiday. No one turned up on that date, and I was contacted once again by a company official, and told that a further £500 was needed to complete the deal. Incredible, isn't it??? I've had no joy in all my attempts to resolve this matter, but all I get now is a different company sales rep and a totally different finance company ringing me, offering various quotes. One finance company even called me this last May bank holiday...he informed me Safestyle sold my information to them, and he gave me his name and number. The most worrying aspect is that my details appear to be everywhere now. The last sales rep that called me was at a pub, and I could hear lots of noise and glasses flying around. I am now fighting regarding this matter, and to get my £60 refund, which I've been told will take up to 21 days to process.
