General Comments
I bought the Cambridge Audio CD5 CD player on special from Richersound to replace an ageing Pioneer PD-S801 player that cost me £350 about 7 years earlier. The player RRP was £230 but i got mine for £100 (on special). As soon as i got it out of the box i was impressed with the fullness of the sound. The bass was deep and full, the voices projected nicely and treble was clear and not painfull. Generally a great purchase. By the way, my system is basically based around a "World Audio Design K5881" class A valve Amplifier and my speakers are KEF Cresta 2's.
