Good Points

Accommodation, food, staff, leisure facilities, pool a good size compared to some boats, plenty of sunbeds. Tour guide Amro Ghamaen absolutely first class.

You must do the Abu Simbel tour, which is optional. To us, it was the highlight of the tour. Fly don't take the bus!

Bad Points

The Thomson flight was very cramped, cold for some, too hot for others. Marks: 1/10.

General Comments

We have just returned from a 7 night Thomas Cook cruise on MS Terramar and would like to recommend this trip and this boat to everyone. Food, accomodation, crew, facilities were all first class, the fact that a maximum number of 40 people on-board made it extra special, everybody got to know each other in no time at all. Our tour was Amro Ghanem, his knowledge of ancient Egypt was first class.

Thank you for your useful comments. My partner and I are currently looking for the best quality Nile Cruise and this seems like the one.
How did you book? I can't find this cruise anywhere on the Thomas Cook website?
Any advice would be most welcome.
    Thanks
    Wayne

The holiday we took through Thomas Cook is in their Egypt brochure and available from any of their high street shops.

Is it possible to have add ons to the 7 night cruise as we would like to go to Cairo and also spend a day in Luxor?
