Very friendly staff and definitely a sun trap at the end of the day.
Bad Points
Food was not very nice, nothing was labelled so most of the time you didn't know what you were eating, it came out cold and there wasn't much choice.
General Comments
We booked before reading the reviews and even though the write ups that some people had given the hotel, they did not do it any justice. The rooms are very basic but clean, a separate bathroom and a large balcony (ours overlooked the pool), Sky TV and a safe for a small charge. They were cleaned regularly during the week and had our towels changed every couple of days, there is a wash basin, shower over the bath and a bidet in the bathroom. The staff in the Golf Del Sur were very helpful, happy hour in Corbeta bar is great, a pint of Spanish lager for less than a pound and same for all the local spirits 6 - 7 pm every night. If you want a relaxing few days by the pool with good company, pleasant chit chat and a cold lager then this is the place to be. If you are clubbers or like it a little more lively then I suggest Playa de las Americas or Los Cristianos are the places for you. There are ample bars and restaurants within walking distance or a short taxi ride for you less energetic lot. I would recommend Spanish nights for a great evening out, very cheap and two tribute acts on most evenings.
All in all, apart from the aeroplanes coming over every 15 minutes, you do get used to it though, Green Park is a smashing, value for money place and we will be visiting again in the future.
