Excellent races. Crashes are the absolute best in the gaming world and the road rage is a riot of fun, exciting as it gets. The cars are good and the tracks wonderful. Graphics rate high on my scale.
For the time spent it is a somewhat good game to get involved in a good race or road rage match.
I like to earn the cars in flat out burn up. I find the dilemma of a crash for the X4 and the good explosive crash breaker to be addicting.
Now here we have the problem CALLED MAP LAG. Freezing while it loads the map EUROPE AND ASIA, longer tracks seem to have bad spots in the download to the hard drive. I hear my Xbox trying to catch up to this race I am in.
Cars appearing out of no place after a freeze and the track displacement so a nice first lead is a face full of car or wall. It is the stutter in this game that makes one want to tear out the disk and snap it in half. In one race it froze up so many times I sat wondering if it was my machine or the game. So got another copy and low behold it does the same rotten thing. This game would be the boldest, fun, screaming fun filled race car game on the market if not for the horrible track freeze. Maybe a download to my Xbox hard drive would cure the delay I have experienced? Who knows but if they got that problem fixed this game would ROCK MY XBOX, not to mention be a must have for all gamers who like intense race games.
It is worth the hard spots but one must win the races to get the events to unlock. I can't do that with a track that freezes up. I have raced the same race freezing up time and time again with two new copies of this game. I like it and will keep it because it is a good game. But heaven help me it makes me mad as it gets when the loss is from the frozen screen.
