Nice looking stock
Easy glow sights
Easy to cock
Nice looking blue finish
Nicely grooved barrel inside
Stiff trigger at first, and a little stiff to cock at first
I have had the Winchester 800X gun now for 2 summers. I bought it last year, but I did not shoot it that much then. At the time I was not very happy with it, but after putting around 500 rounds or so in it, and learning to correctly shoot a springer air-rifle, I found the rifle to be very accurate with the right pellets and right correct holding of the air rifle.
I use Gamo Hunter pellets. I find those the most accurate in the domed style of pellet head. I also like to use Diablo Basic Line by RWS. They are a waddcutter target practice type, and very accurate also.
I only shoot open sights, but it does have a nice scope stop.
I recommend this rifle to anyone who wants a general purpose air rifle for under a $100.00 at most places.
