Large display screen, features, stylish and easy to use.
Had two faulty handsets and Bluetooth connection
I got my Motorola V3i in February 2006 and initially i wasn't impressed. I received 1 handset which broke when the "scroll right" button got stuck in and I couldn't use it for anything and then I got a replacement handset which arrived with a broken "cancel" button. When the 3rd handset arrived a was dubious about its performance to say the least, but it worked fine and has continued to do so for the last 14 months.
The phone is very easy to use with plenty of features. The display screen on the inside of the flip lid is pretty big and displays nicely. There is also a display on the front of the phone which is just there to display incoming calls/texts.
I would fault the phone on its Bluetooth capabilities though. For some reason you can only be located via Bluetooth for 60 seconds at a time and any incoming Bluetooth info can be slow to transfer. The only other minor complaint would be the quality of the photos from the camera, they aren't the clearest looking images, but if you want quality photos I suppose you should by a quality camera.
Overall it is a good phone and I wouldn't hesitate in getting another Motorola.
