6 usable seats, quiet and refined diesel reasonable boot space. Reliability! Good dealers. Doesn't drive like an MPV.
Drivers' seat could have a slightly longer base. Door pockets narrow. Very basic trip computer.
I've done 10,000 miles in 7 months, and this car has been outstandingly reliable to date. Fuel consumption is averaging about 47.5mpg on a variety of short and long journeys, with a worst of 44 and best of 52. The fuel consumption is gradually improving as the engine beds in (now up to 13,000 miles). That said, I do drive with a light foot. Over 70mph it is noticeable that fuel consumption falls away quite sharply. Stick to 65mph and it's around 50mpg on a motorway trip. Kids like being able to sit up front and have no complaints. Quiet and refined diesel engine is excellent. Six speed gearbox is slick and easy to use and once used to the handbrake you don't really notice it. Parking sensors are a necessity given the height of the back window. Roadholding & handling are excellent for the type of car with little body roll on bends and predictable handling inspiring confidence. It's a Honda and everything just works like it should!
