Good Points
I bought a leather passport holder for my big trip away. It certainly gave my battered passport longevity and looked pretty smart when I handed it over to the check-in staff.

Bad Points
The gold lettering on the front of the cover I bought rubbed off within months, making it look a pretty sorry sight. Also, the cover is a bit big to slip in your pocket.

General Comments
I think I would travel with a leather passport cover again but I think it's important to splash out a bit for a decent quality one, not a cheap one like I had, whose lettering came off in a jiffy!
