When it works
How long have you got?
Three years, and we still have no reliable service. They simply do not care. We have the full SkyPlus package, including Premiership Plus. Tonight, Manchester United play the Champions League 2nd leg Semi. I have no signal. Yet again. The brand new box was only fitted Saturday. We have had the dish re-sited, the cables changed, many, many re-conditioned boxes. Finally, after writing to all the Directors at their home addresses, we got a "Special Service Call", which led to finally getting the new box. We were told we would have a complete removal and re-installation with all new equipment. We only had the box changed. Yet another lie.
There is a blog from a sub contracted Sky engineer. He states Sky have no idea how to fix problems and don't care anyway.
Sky know they have us right where they want us.
Sky is great, when it works. I just cannot describe the frustration when it doesn't. They really do not care at all. Why should they? Who is going to do anything about it? I laugh every time I hear "The Monopolies Commissions" mentioned. Sky have a monopoly. What else can it be called?
Be prepared to be driven to insanity by them if you get a problem.
