Wolf in sheeps clothing. Powerful and surprisingly refined.
Prone to rust and some poor components.
I have really enjoyed owning my Maserati 430 2800. It seats four in comfort and is a pleasure to drive. I've ironed out most of its niggles now and have learned much about the car along the way. There are sources for help and reasonable second hand parts. This model would definitely suit a car enthusiast that likes to tinker. I tinkered and got it right. After a year or so you'll know more about them than most other people.
If you look for one find the best rust free body you can with a clean interior. The mechanics are easier to sort.
