Good Points
Fast acting.
Long lasting (permanent).
Good for any hair type or any kind of damage, and it thickens hair.
Bad Points
Slightly expensive.
Hard to find.
Works best with clear (non-conditioning) shampoos. Can't use creme rinse/conditioners before, during or after application (after treatment series is complete and your hair is "repaired", you can use your regular shampoo and conditioners again).
General Comments
L'Oreal The Hair Fixer (Ineral) is the product to get if your hair is "hopelessly damaged" and you're thinking of cutting it off. It will work a "miracle" in repairing your hair. I've used it after a major "hair-fry" (over-processing a relaxer on color-treated hair), and it turned a French-fried haystack with massive splits/breaks into soft, smooth non-breaking hair again. As I said above, it works best if you use a clear non-conditioning shampoo, and you shouldn't use any other conditioners while you're using the hair fixer (their "coating action" will block penetration of the product). You mix the hair fixer "lotion" and a "tablet" in a "special applicator" and apply it immediately to freshly shampooed hair. It may take a whole series of treatments. Each treatment "builds" on the last, gradually rebuilding the hair (one box = 6 applications) - (mine took two series), but, it will fix the hair permanently (until you damage it again) to a "normal" non-damaged looking/feeling state.

The Hair Fixer has been discontinued, so I cannot find any Sally's in Miami Dade nor Broward county that has it. Does anyone know where I can still get it?
