Good Points

This laptop was good value for money with a large screen. It is slimline and has reasonable spec for basic computer.


Bad Points

Thankfully I only use this computer for home use. The build quality of the laptop is quite flimsy and I do not believe this would make a good 'work' computer. My computer has been returned to Acer on several occasions under warranty. On each occasion it was returned with a different fault. After many complaints I was offered a 3 month extension to my warranty as a 'goodwill gesture' which wasn't particularly good as my laptop had been with Acer for almost 3 months during its warranty period. The attitude for their customer relations department was not good - obviously the 'lemon' law doesn't apply to laptops! Still I will never buy another Acer because of the company's attitude, which is a shame because it was good value.
Apart from the non existent customer service the only other minus gripe is poor battery life.


General Comments

For lightweight home use this is a reasonable and good value laptop, but would not be up to work use. Build quality better with others and aftersales 'service' is appalling.
