Holiday Autos boast no hidden charges. How wrong.
When I got back I found an extra £150 had been charge to my credit card. For tax, admin, fuel, roadside service protection and carefree personal protection! I took out collision damage waiver in this country as well as holiday insurance. How insured do I need to be? I had in fact signed something in America to say I wanted all these insurances but no on ever asked if I wanted any of them or explained them. I thought I was signing for the car. This happened after 20 minutes of bullying from three reps to make as upgrade for £150, the car we had booked would be too small he said. We declined, then just as we were leaving he said we could have an upgrade for free. How generous? We ended up with the car we had booked all along. He was just trying to get some extra money from us! Alamo are the culprits here but Holiday Autos must know their tactics and when it comes to claiming the money back Holiday Autos don't want to know.
