General Comments
Unfortunatley Asda's Pet insurance is not as nice as their food. They have two policies, and even the higher level policy is not much cop. Both are 12 month only policies, which means that 12 months from the first symptom of a condition you are no longer covered; ie. if you have an ear infection one year, then another ear infection three years later, the second wouldn't be covered, as 12 months after the first ear condition started, your cover for ears 'times out'. Many people take out supermarket policies as they are cheap, marketed well and readily available; however, you would be much better searching for a maximum benefit policy or cover for life policy, as these offer much better long term cover. Policies to also avoid, Argos Silver, Argos Gold, Churchill, Direct Line Essential, Tesco Standard, PetPlan PetValue and any E&L, as these are also 12 month policies.
