Bad Points

NO REIMBURSEMENT! My dog sliced his foot open and I had to rush him to the emergency room. His bill was $620.00, and I was only reimbursed $140.00! Having been paying $33 a month for over a year, you would think it would be worth the money. To get your pet approved for insurance they put you through all these questionnaires before they give you an answer.


General Comments

I was completely dissatisfied with VPI, and I felt they really didn't care as long as they were getting a paycheck. So, I cancelled, and I am now with Pets Best Insurance. The monthly premiums are about the same, but after a $75 deductible they reimburse 80% of your bill. I haven't had to file a claim yet, but I was very impressed with their customer service, and my dog became insured during my phone call.
