They came up with a good design concept, and what has got done looks good.

Where do I start?


General Comments

There is no communication between sales and design, customer service, ordering, fitters, you name it - if there is was a chance for them to mess something up, they generally did. The fundamental problem lies with the fact that they subcontracted the fitting out. The 2 companies don't communicate very well. Our kitchen was delivered at the beginning of December 2006. We were originally quoted 5 days as an installation time. Obviously, what consumers don't always pick up on, is that if they take a credit plan out through GE Capital, they are liable for capital and interest repayments from the moment it is delivered, not when it is successfully installed. We are 5 months down the line, having taken numerous hours off work to allow access and take delivery of the ordered stuff, and we still don't have a completed kitchen. The whole experience has been hugely stressful, and getting through to decision makers is impossible. We are now considering taking the matter further.
