Good Points

Excellent value for money holiday. Very friendly efficient staff. Hotel great with good food, plenty of choice of both hot and cold food at all meals. Service also excellent and nothing too much trouble. The swimming pool is fantastic and spotlessly clean, as is the rest of the Hotel. Lovely grounds to wander around and all well kept. You can also walk from the hotel pool area straight onto the beach. There are plenty of sunbeds to choose from and waiter service from the pool to the beach so you don't have to leave your bed if you don't want to, except for a dip in the water of course. The weather was very hot and rather humid at times but great and the sun shone all day. This was the same last year also.

Bad Points

No bad points except that, as the brochure says, the rooms are basic, although spotlessly clean, which is the most important thing. The towels were new and the water hot so no problems as far as we were concerned.

General Comments

An excellent value for money holiday. This is the second time we have been and we loved it just as much this year as last. This year we took two friends and they fell in love with the hotel and staff also. We shall all go again next year!
One piece of advice was to take a bank of plugs so that you can charge cameras, phones, etc. There is only 1 plug in the average room and we needed more. Also take a torch, especially if you are going on safari. There are a la carte restaurants at both the Flamingo Beach Hotel and it's sister hotel, The Dolphin, next door where they serve a wonderful Chateaubriand. Another restaurant to try is the Moorings, where you dine in the open on a floating platform on the Creek. Fabulous seafood, including lobster and excellent value.
