Good Points

Convenient location in Marrakech, comfortable beds, very friendly and helpful owners, great breakfast, good rooftop sunbathing terrace, beautiful green courtyard. Accommodation close to taxi point, so handy for getting around. The Riad's aesthetics mean it has been used as a location for a Harpers Bazaar Greece modelling shoot!


Bad Points

Very close to mosque for the daily 4.30am prayer call so not recommended for light sleepers! Difficult to find on first arrival.


General Comments

Lovely little Riad with traditional decor and intricate tiling. Inclusive breakfast was great and we were welcomed with mint tea and sweet miniature pastries. The Belgian owner and her Marakchi husband made us feel very welcome, they were always on hand to answer our questions. They even arranged a taxi quote for a trip to the Ourika valley in the Atlas mountains, which I would highly recommend for it's spectacular scenery and waterfalls. We used the rooftop for sunbathing one day and also the Hammam steam bath, which was handily next door to our room. We were provided with bran soap, argan oil and massagers, we stayed in there for over an hour for around £20, highly recommended. The Midnight curfew means that no nightclubs could be visited, therefore Riad dar Sbihi is more suitable accommodation for older couples and single travellers.
