handling
how the seats (driver/front passenger side) "hold" your body
Fuel consumption
Pricey parts:
$20 halogen headlight bulb from BMW dealer.
$300 fuel pump (underneath back seat).
$550 clutch kit.
$220 Clutch slave cylinder.
$1000 new radiator and bleed systems.
Roof lining is sagging.
Door trims are showing their age.
Hard and bouncy stock Pirelli P6000 tyres.
Bought the car at 190800kms Still runs very smooth.
Chip and throttle body was replaced by Peak Performance by the previous owner, so I don't know how far the performance has improved compared to stock.
Acceleration is slow, sluggish and heavy on first gear - feels like driving a truck. It gets snappier at high rpm 3000 and above. You have to rev the car aggressively to wake it up. Maybe because it is using timing chain instead of timing belts.
Have Good Year NCT5 fitted, softer and less friction it rides better than Pirelli P6000. Pirelli P6000 bounce the rear end of the car when you accelerate on bumpy road.
