Good Points

Once I'd found a recipe that worked (a couple in the accompanying booklet got the proportions completely wrong) the quality of the bread was fine for several months.

Bad Points

Recently the bread doesn't seem to be properly cooked - quite often comes out a bit soggy - reading comments here, I'm guessing it's the element.
I paid extra for this one as it had a fruit and nut dispenser, claiming to add these ingredients at just the right time. I found that it actually just dumps them on top of the mostly mixed dough, leaving you with a finished loaf with lots of loose seeds on the top. Also, a fair few miss the tin and drop down onto the element below where they burn on and are a nightmare to try to clean off. I now mix these with the flour before adding to the tin.
As mentioned by others, the outside surface is particularly prone to marking and looks horrible quite quickly. Worse for me though, is that the non-stick coating started wearing off really quickly, and now it's a real struggle to get the finished loaf out. Also, I don't really like the idea of bits of teflon in my bread...

General Comments

AWT needs to be more careful about what he puts his name to - I'm off to buy another breadmaker - but it won't be one by Breville!
