Great functionality. Great interest rates. Customer service is outstanding; well trained and courteous.
You may send a Paper Check, but have to fill it out online, and they mail it for you.
Although I list "Bad Points" below, these are mainly my wish list. Overall, I am satisfied with ING Direct.
They don't tell you about the $5,000 maximum on mail-in deposits. They reject anything over $5,000 and mail it back to you, and DO NOT notify you.
No recurring payment feature in "Electronic Check" or "Send Paper Check". C/S says they are working on it.
You cannot open commercial accounts.
You cannot link savings accounts. These hickies may be regulatory issues - not sure.
Overall, I am satisfied with ING Direct Internet Banking. It is VERY straight forward and easy to use. They are sticklers on security.
