General Comments

I got this scope whilst on a short break in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. At £65, the price was a little excessive and fell just within my budget - but after closer inspection, the build quality did seem very nice, and there were nice rubber lense caps included.

I got a one piece mount with the scope, but after getting back to the "holiday village" (of which we should never speak) I quickly discovered that the mount was too long for the body of the scope, which was very annoying, as I'd already been to the shop twice already for the same and other reasons.

Difficulties aside, let me go into a little more detail about the scope itself. First off all, perhaps the best thing about this scope is the compact, yet not too compact, size. And by size I do mean length, and not the diameter of the objective lense (40mm) which is more than enough for this class of hunting scope. Holding it in my hands, I find that the scope feels nice and "chunky", and looks the part - a lot like a sniper scope.

I think by biggest issue with this scope, however, is the price tag. This is only a small problem, and probably more so for me as my budget is shallow compared to most people - but I did find that value for money wasn't superb. None the less, though, this is a good hunting scope and has a lot of potential.

Recommended to those who don't have a full size rifle. Fixing this scope onto something like an SMK XS36 will just look out of place, but using it on something smaller like a Crosman Ratcatcher will look great.

A compact hunting solution!
