Good Points

Polite customer service, but other than that, useless.

Everything not mentioned in the good points.


General Comments

My bike was stolen and damaged beyond repair the day before New Year. I have still not had my claim settled, and it is over half way through April. The offer they have made to settle is way below what it should be, and I have to provide yet more paperwork to support my claim.

Their claims procedure is appalling, and they are of no help in the slightest when making your claim. All Footman James Motorcycle Insurance do is forward paperwork between you and the actual insurance company, which in this case is NIG.

My partner made a claim with Tesco, and they had it all sorted within a week; and that's a supermarket!!

    I know exactly what you mean. I'm going through the same thing at the moment...having to send in yet more paperwork!! Mine ONLY took 5 months (tomorrow) so far!! I have never written a review before & didn't even know about this site, But anger & frustration seemed to make me find it & write a review, & i told them exactly what i'd done, & to expect a long complaint letter with many points in it!!!
