I applied for a loan with Northern Rock, and I have never defaulted on any payments, nor exceeded my overdrafts. Northern Rock went through the application for the loan, only to be informed by a rather shocked sounding operator that I had been refused for the loan without any explanation.


General Comments

If being refused for a loan, I believe that a reason should be given so that you are able to rectify this ASAP. Northern Rock were friendly and helpful, but their lack of explanation for their refusal of my loan application is absurd.
