Good Points

Safest bike I've owned and Ive owned over 30; Plenty of power but not too much that would get me into. Real trouble, brakes and handles well- a real looker.


Bad Points

Cold blooded - takes a long time to warm up, uncomfortable seat for 75 + miles rides dosen't feel rite above 85 miles per hour but I don't go that fast at my age any more.


General Comments

It feels great at 4000 rpms and above I love the deceleration pops the engine makes on sudden deceleration. I love the way it looks I've always loved the look of the Bonneville but didn't like the gas leaks oil leaks and lucas electrics. I'm in the process of selling the bike to make room for a new bike this is one of the few bikes I've owned that I will really miss.
