Good Points

Very nice look for a 2D game, perfect for people who want the whole game straight from the bat, and there are more training levels.

Bad Points

You may want a few objectives to unlock thing. This game isn't updated anymore and there is more online activity on it's brother: Worms: Armageddon. It may also seem like a clone of Worms: Armageddon as only the menu, missions and the training levels are different. The gameplays the same.

General Comments

If you haven't heard of worms or even if you have you will be addicted to it from the start, with the cartoonish graphics and the fantastic gameplay.

The graphics:

Worms has developed it's cartoonish theme from the game and Worms: Armageddon. With big-eyes and how the worms look different if they're traveling up or down a slope or holding a weapon, the graphics are set for anyone, especially cartoon lovers. They do lack small detail though, like where shotgun bullets have hit worms and different coloured water. Being 2D it's quite easy to look at the battlefield (landscape) so you can easily move, aim fire, and watch the fun.

The audio:

The background music is at such a volume you can barely notice it when playing, so you can concentrate on your turn and you can hear it when your watching your enemy. Apart from the title music (sounds like a half Scottish half German badly composed theme tune) Everything is fine. The sound effects are of great detail and your worm team's anthem is good and some choices are funny, like at the end of the French national anthem you get like the entire band has stopped to see a car crash outside. However, the worm's voices are acceptable, but they can be a bit squeaky.

The gameplay:

The game runs on a turn to turn strategy and it easy to control. It is unexplainable about how this game is so simple and why the gameplay's brilliant.

The multiplayer:

The turn to turn feature let's you have 5 friends around to play with one or more computers. You can have hotseat mode or play over a LAN (Local Area Network). You can even play online, and to today there are still people there. Wormnet is the heart of the worms experience.

Unfortunately this game isn't updated like it's brother, worm's Armageddon. You can only select 3 screen resolutions while the updated Worms Armageddon let's you select out of lot's of different resolutions.

This game is good if you want everything from the start, but the Worms World Party Wormnet will definitely die before the Worm's Armageddon Wormnet will. You can't play people from different games yet, but you will soon.

I would say get Worms Armageddon instead of Worms World Party as they are the same except for the unloackables, missions, training levels, and most importantly, the online community. And also updates.
