Las Piramides has everything you will need, it has two big swimming pools and a smaller, more private one at the back only open for club 18 to 30. Very private, believe me, the rooms were great and it's literally 2 minutes from the clubs, loads of restaurants, 24 hour shop on the corner down from the hotel around 1 minute away. Very handy and if you like hot, try standing on the black sand beaches, oh very hot. Well I have to say it's a great hotel and location, one for the lads; there is a go kart track the go karts are so quick it's unbelievable. I would recommend it 15 minutes on the bus and there's a fantastic water park too.
Bad Points
The bad point is our hotel room was burgled with no obvious force of entry, when we were all out safely and everything. They told us the staff couldn't get in the rooms but I went to ask the security guard if he could get into our room, as we lost the key card, and in 10 seconds he was in. The next day we caught some Spanish lad and his girlfriend trying to get in through our balcony door but we chased him with the pool cue's. They did move us to a nicer room up a few floors as soon as we asked without hesitation, so apart from that it was wonderful but our camcorder was stolen so the memory is fading. I just wish the camera didn't get stolen, we only have one picture off a couple we met, that's the single visual reminder of our holiday.
General Comments
So all in all Playa De Las Americas was an excellent holiday, could have been better, well not the place just the things that happened.
