Very comfy car to ride in, good looks, good handling car.
Anti-roll bar ends have a tendency to break/snap, apparent rusty arches. I have had two now and neither of them have suffered from this point luckily.
Seeing as I have now owned the 2.0l 8v and now I am the owner of the 2.0l 16v red top which I think is a very good car, I have been told that it is better to change the cam belt every 40,000 rather than every 60,000 that most garages will tell you. It is also a very good idea to have the water pump changed at the same time as the cam belt seeing as the water pump is driven by the cam belt, and if the pump seizes up it could cost hundreds instead of just an extra £30-£40 at the same time as the cam belt. All in the Vauxhall Calibra 16V is probably one of the best old coupes to be on the road still.
