Sometimes cut the end off recordings, signal coverage on BBC channels is unreliable & would occasionally freeze but that was liveable with, as was so very occasional.

General Comments

I have owned my FVRT100 for 13 months & other than minor niggles mentioned above I have had no major problems. However, two weeks ago I woke up one morning to find that it had frozen & the screen just said 'hold' as it does when initializing. As this didn't go, I disconnected the power & reconnected but this time no power was going to the unit. I tried this several times before calling the DigiFusion helpline. They advised my unit would just need a new power cable & to send a copy of my receipt to them & they would send me another free of charge which I was impressed with. Upon receiving my new power cable I reconnected it to my unit only to get the 'hold' instruction permanently again. So once again I called DigiFusion & they emailed me instruction for an 'external reset'. I followed these instruction repeatedly but this still didn't resolve the issue. Their instructions advised that if this reset didn't work then I should contact my retailer which I did immediately. To my disgust I was told that my retailers warranty is only for 12 months & I was outside their warranty limit there is nothing they are prepared to do. The assistant also told me that DigiFusion are so difficult to work with & their products are so unreliable that they no longer stock them & do not deal with repairs on faulty DigiFusion products even if they fall within their 12 month warranty period & send them to an external company to deal with. Neither will DigiFusion deal with their own repairs on faulty products. Needless to say I am outraged & will be contacting DigiFusion once more, if I have no joy with them I will contact the retailers head office & failing that I will be taking this to trading standards as I am appalled that having spent £130 on this unit just 13 months ago I am now left to find and pay for a private repairer. I will never purchase another DigiFusion product again neither will I be using this particular retailer. My in-laws have just spent nearly £2000 on a television from this same retailer & are now concerned that they will face the same problems should any faults occur with their vastly more expensive purchase. I would not recommend a DigiFusion product to anyone following this shocking outcome.
