Good Points

I love my V6 3.3 LE. It is luxury that I could not normally afford. I paid 7K just over 2 years ago. Long trips are a pleasure and the power of the vehicle is awesome. The leather interior is comfortable and durable. The sliding doors are very practical and you can take 7 people with luggage, something unique in this class.

Bad Points

Around town, 12 - 14 MPG unless you drive like a nun. If something goes wrong, you need a loan to sort it out. I had to replace a handbrake during year 1 of ownership and with MOT and Service, I was £1100 down. Poor resale value, do not buy these as an investment. Not easy to get used to the drive. It took me 6 months to get used to the poor rear visibility, the width and length of the vehicle and stopping the beast is a nightmare. If, like me you are used to engine assisted breaking, you will find that you have no choice but to rely heavily on the brakes from now on.

General Comments

Here is something to consider. You can pick one of these cars up with a luxury and performance you might only find in a car £4000 - £6000 more in price.

£4000 - £6000 can buy you a heck of a lot of fuel and it can compensate for the poor economy. £1000 is £20 per week for 12 months, so this can offset the MPG big time.

If something big goes wrong on these cars, it can be a disaster. If you have no warranty or comeback of any kind, you may find a garage bill running into the thousands of pounds.
