I have had the good fortune to own 2 Weihrauch HW45's (at different times). Although I was warned each time that .177 or .22 was the way to go; I have bought .20 versions each time. I find that there is sufficient selection of pellets in .20 to give me all the ammo I need; and I find that at about 495 fps; it is a very powerful air pistol.
I add rubber Hogue grips to give it a better feel; but other than that I don't need to add anything else to allow me full enjoyment of this great air gun! It is built extremely well; and the heavy weight of it feels right to me (and I am not a large person).
I do not use it for hunting; but find that bottles and tin cans have no chance out to 20 meters or so...
