If more space is what you want but the installation of a new internal hard drive is too daunting then this would be a great buy. I have used this exact model for around 8 months and it is perfect for my needs. I use this on my laptop and can be easily carried around in a spacious laptop carry case. I use the high speed devise to run games, music and videos onto my laptop through a 2.0 USB port and it's perfect. 80GB is plentiful and I've only used around 35 GB with 3 games and around a day's worth of music and 4 full length films. Although beware if you know you may need more than you will only have to spend a little more money to buy a 120GB external hard drive but these are often bigger and slower. Do beware that it is not the smallest of devises and would not fit into your pocket!
