I have just been to London for the first time and visited Trafalgar Square. I have admittedly seen it on the television and in magazines but it in no way does it justice.
Trafalgar square is amazing, situated at the end of the Strand, its amazing to see such a wide open space in the middle of such a busy city as London. The day i visited was luckily a really nice day so the fountains glinted in the sunlight as we climbed up the step to sit at the base of nelsons column, i could have happily stayed sat there for hours and watched the bustle of London go by. We also went to the national gallery which is in Trafalgar square, its free admission to get in which is excellent. Its a really busy place but it doesn't deflect from it at all.
If you are in London i fully recommend going to Trafalgar square, its amazing and my review in no way does it justice!
