As I am deaf and need subtitles in order to enjoy most films and television series, it has been useful to be able to watch old TV series on DVD without going to the expense of having to buy the boxed sets.
Now that the service has been taken over by Lovefilm, the quality of service has dropped significantly. Turn around used to be 24 hours now can take up to a week, series sent out of order, and despite having over 100 titles on list the odd wild card gets sent out.
Poor customer service, fail to take note of complaints properly and blame the customer for the inefficiency.
Tesco DVD Rental offered a much better service before Lovefilm took over, but as I haven't been able to find a better rental outfit, I will have to put up with it.
