Good Points

Martil is a hidden gem located 1 hour from Tangier. Lots and lots of beach houses for private rent, very very big and cheap. Loud, noisy, vibrant resort, also known as the beach town that never sleeps!! Variation of restaurants serving anything from traditional Moroccan cuisine, kebabs and good old chips!! Small boutique style shops, exhibitions and henna artists on the street or at the beach. Good way to meet Moroccan people and experience the real Morocco and a lot cheaper than the beach resort of Agadir.

Bad Points

If you don't like noise, have trouble sleeping then Martil is not for you. But the noise aspect is all part of the experience.

I love Martil so please if you know someone who can rent his apartment, tell me about that I'd like to go there in early August 2008.
If you could let me know as soon as possible by posting a comment below.

    Hi Sara

Best thing to do is arrive in Martil and just ask around, there are always apartments for rent at good prices. Usually we arrive and within an hour we have somewhere.

However it might be a good idea to go a couple of weeks early if you have the preference of a particular area/house and pre-book.

It is amazing to have found someone who shares my love of Martil! Please keep in touch!
