Good Points

It starts, and it could get you around a very congested city if you wear body armour and don't mind the fact that it is suicidal. Oh, and it actually is the coolest bike to grocery shop on (storage), and young girls seem to dig them for no apparent reason.

Bad Points

Too many. The asking price is way too high for a 50cc. It is totally gutless up hill and on flats. Cars will always want to pass you. My bicycle is faster. The stock tires are VERY dangerous. I low-sided the bike at only 35mph on a corner, because all the weight is in the rear. The tires are total putz, and the thing slid out, breaking my collar bone, and if I was not smart enough to have an Arai RX 7 XX full face lid, I would have lost all my teeth too. Vespa should not be allowed to market these bikes in the U.S. They are too quiet (that could be fixed), totally gutless on power and the handling stinks. The brakes are scary on a canyon down hill, with massive fade. I can ride a push bike faster! The wheels are far too small for common sense, and cannot hold the road at a motorcyclist's lean angle. IF YOU RIDE A PROPER BIKE STAY FAR AWAY from this thing. It cannot lean over. Now I have to write some hate mail to Vespa USA. Thank you.

General Comments

Get your self an Aprilia Sport City 250 for not much more cash. Or just get a proper motorbike to commute on and ride. I see no place in the market for a Vespa for a real rider. These machines are ALL about pose value and have no soul.

The Piaggio Vespa LX50 50 is totally gutless! Even the GTS 250 is anaemic compared to an Aprilia, and they have the same engine.

Move along if you have a brain.
