Good Points

Lots to see and do, the theme park is split into continents, each one having its own show, so it's good to plan your way around so you are not retracing your steps. A map is available free at the entrance. The shows are well worth watching, our kids loved the Pirates and also the Western theme. The Dragon Khann is not for the faint hearted. I've been told there is another big ride that has been built since we went there, so I'm looking forward to that this September when we go again. Plenty of places for lunch and dinner, plenty of seats for those less able to keep the pace on the walk around the park. The water rides are great, just remember to wear your water proofs. Food prices are about average throughout but you can always take a picnic lunch with you! You can easily spend a day there.

Bad Points

It can be a bit hilly for the elderly but like I said, there's plenty of seating around.
It is mainly for the ages of 5 and over but the shows will no doubt amuse the younger ones too, our youngest was 5 and she had a ball.

General Comments

I would highly recommend a visit any day of the week but try and visit on a Saturday because at 9pm they ask people to make their way to the lake at the main entrance where you will see a brilliant Firework Display. Get a good spot to sit so you can enjoy it properly before you leave. Honestly, it's not to be missed, it was worth the late night to hear the kids Ooooohs and Aaaaahs.

Remember you are in Spain and that Bikini tops or naked chests are not acceptable in this Theme Park but it's usually so hot that you would be smart to cover up any way.

Purchasing the Theme Park Tickets online is definitely the way to go, you can get them from your travel agent but at double the price.

On the internet you can get them for:
4 - 10 years old, 36 pounds Sterling.
Adults, 46 pounds.
OAPs, 36 pounds.
Now wait for it, the good deal here is that this price is for 14 days, at your travel agent you will pay more than that for a 2 or 3 day pass. Of course it's up to you but we thought that it left our options open to return when we wanted to and not when the other, dearer, ticket demanded i.e. two consecutive days.

I did not see pricing for the children under 4 years of age so I am assuming they go in free but it's always safe to check!

I'm looking forward to our family holiday in September, there is 15 of us going.

For us Port Adventura was one of the highlights of the holiday!
I hope I have helped someone somewhere with this information.
Good luck and enjoy, Trish

A family member found the site Attractiontix (linked below) today. They are cheaper again for the PortAdventura tickets so I will be booking mine there.
Also I said in my review that I wasn't sure if the under fours get in free but I can now confirm that yes they do!
