Silent. Easy operation. Reliable, only crashed once so far. Easily restored by unplugging. New software gives excellent 2hr. buffer time. Recording indistinguishable from live. Channel number displayed on front, so you don't need tv on when just listening to audio. Most programmes can be recorded from the EPG menu. (Some channels don't seem to offer EPG info) Hard drive capacity more than adequate for my use.
Bad Points
When using the timer schedule to set recordings you have to set start time, then length of recording. It would be easier setting start time and stop time.
Recording very occasionally jumps a fraction of a second. Not visible, but audible. Remote buttons sometimes give double action. i.e. a function can go on and off again with what you think is a single press.
General Comments
The Digifusion FVRT90 is the only PVR I have ever owner and it came very cheap, slightly used from eBay. As far as I'm concerned it's the best bit of audio/visual kit I've ever bought. Absolutely delighted with it. With this wonder, you can view all commercial TV in time shift and never see another advert again !
