It's size could be a minus. Bad basket handle.

General Comments

We have had this pram for 17 months now, and are still extremely pleased with it. It's been out as good as every day, come rain or shine. It has never let us down, it handles so well, even over curbs. We bought a raincover at Toys r Us, you don't have to buy it at Mothercare, since this pram is really a Graco Quattro. If you should ever need spare parts, like new wheels, Mothercare can order them for you from Graco. The wheels on our pram have more or less lost their pattern now, but that's bearing in mind that I've been going over a lot of terrain, including pebbly paths, with it, and it has an enourmous amount of mileage! The springs makes it a comfortable ride for the little one, he has never complained, and been able to sleep even on bumpy tracks.
It has also been with us on four flights, without any problems. It folds very easily, with a one hand grip, and folds up just as easily, so you can hold your baby whilst folding. I would recommend to snap off the cupholders and clock unit before the flight, and pack them in the luggage. They snap easily back into place again. This makes them really easy to clean too.
There is an unobtrusive handle on the side of the pram, for carrying and loading. It could pose a problem that it is one of the heaviest prams on the market, at 12 kg. But this pram does not aspire to be a lightweighter and it is surprisingly easy to manouvre. I go on buses a lot and am fortunate to be able to take buses that you can stroll your pram into, and the turning radius of it is excellent, and it's easy to travel with, despite it's size. If I would have to constantly fold it and carry it, how ever, this might not be the right choice, but then I would get a folding buggy instead. The front wheels swivel, but it is easy to lock them should you wish. I have never really needed to use that feature. The brakes are simple, you won't scuff your shoes trying to toe up the brakes and they require no force. They have a plate that you tap with your foot, on or off the cogwheel. When travelling, put the breaks on both sides on, to stop the pram from swivelling around.
I just love all the space, the basket underneath is roomy, and there are several compartments for glasses, cups or phones, a soft pocket and trays for the baby. If your baby is old enough to sit up, so you can have the seat upright, add on extra hooks and you can really go and do a decent shop! When I bought this system, a change bag was also supplied, which can be hung over the handles. For loading capacity, this is absolutely brilliant, and that's been a godsend on holidays or outings. You don't have to carry anything, just load it all on the pram, it's like a donkey!
I have never, ever had any problem with the size of the pram when in shops.
The clock/thermometer is a cool extra feature, and are simple to set.
One slight snag has been the handle for the basket underneath. When your baby is lying down, you might have to use a pulley to fold down the front of the basket. It's been a pain to try and pull it and fold down that part, especially when I had had an emergency ceasarian and wasn't very well. My friend had the same problem. Maybe that has been rectified on later models. That's the only complaint I have about this pram.
I've heard that this could also be too big to pack into a small car, so check the size of your boot before you buy this model. We have a van, and usually just roll the pram in and out, without even unfolding it.
The carseat supplied has been equally brilliant. Having a van, we had to strap it to the middle seat, something that can't be done with very many carseats. But Graco makes a support cradle, that you can buy as an extra. You keep that permanently strapped on the middle seat, then just click the car seat in or out of that. So easy! Baby didn't even wake up when we took him out of the van!
There was also a carry cot supplied. When our son was small, he was really cosy in the carry cot, and it slips effortlessly in and out of the pram, again, without waking the baby up.
I'm 5'3 and my husband almost 6' and we both think it is comfortable to push. The handles are at a nice angle and well padded.
We thought all the extras supplied really made this travel system good value for money. This pram has gone through a lot of tough treatment, and still there is hardly a scratch on it! When my son grows out of it, I will truly miss it.
