I have had the Bank of Scotland business account for past 7 years. The account I have is quite good! There are no charges as long as you have at least £5000.
Simple postal deposits, with free pre-paid envelopes.
Online banking is very simple.
Unfortunately this type of account is no longer available, and the new type is am absolute waste of time and money.
I have just started a new business, and as I was already banking with the Bank of Scotland. I thought this was the best choice. BOY was I WRONG! It took 6 weeks to open the account, even though I had another 3 accounts with them. I deposited my first cheque, and I was charged 80p for 1 cheque - this is day light robbery! And still, they do not have any local branches, even though they are partners with the Halifax; you still can not do transactions in any Halifax branch, which is disgraceful in this so-called modern world.
No good comments to make about the Bank of Scotland Business Bank Account!
I am looking to change very soon. I have had enough! They need me more than I need them.
