Good Points

Really simple and well designed on screen menu's make it a pleasure to use. A cheap widescreen TV.


Bad Points

Rather poor sound quality. developed many faults outside warranty. later discovered it is made by beko and sold by LG.


General Comments

The LG RI-28CZ10RX is one of those products that you really like, until things start to go wrong. Having only had a couple of tv's in my life, due to them lasting so well, I hoped to get some value for my money. Unfortunately it failed just a couple of weeks outside the warranty costing me £130 to repair, over half the original cost of the TV. Within 6 months it was having gas problems, causing cloudy effects on the screen. It should also be said that it's noisy in operation, emitting a hissing sound which is rather annoying. I wrote to LG about the poor quality of this product, but they were not interested in repairing or replacing it. I was especially annoyed to find out it was made by Beko but sold as an LG TV. I now have another electrical fault with it which I suspect will need another workshop repair and chip replacement. I will never buy another LG product due to the inferior quality of this TV.
