Good points, what a joke, none whatsoever.
Very poor customer services, not helpful whatsoever.
On the internet I hired a car, after it was confirmed and after the deposit was paid, I asked if I need to take anything with me. The sales person on the other end said just take in your licence but when I got there the staff wanted my credit card which I did unfortunately not have, I tried to give them my passport as ID but they would not accept it. I asked their advice and their answer was to go to the Midlands and pick up my credit card, how stupid is that, they were serious too. I was unhappy with all this as I had a little child with me too and we came back on a 12 hour flight. I was not the only one with problems, there were three other customers being told that, it's all in the terms and conditions.
I would recommend people use National Express instead as they are so helpful and you have a comfortable ride home and surprisingly it worked out cheaper than hiring through Alamo, take my advice, don't use Alamo.
