Intelligent, modern take of "the vampires living amongst us" variety, series of six made for TV, superbly written and for UK TV, well put together
Some of the acting is a little wobbly, and the DVD lacks a full suite of anoraky extras, also a 5.1 audio track would have been nice.
You may get this confused with some awful tosh with Milla Jovovich. Stick to this and you will get a minor classic that will gain cult status I'm sure.
