General Comments

I stand corrected.

After taking this pistol out with me on two or three shooting trips, I take everything I said in the other review of this pistol back. The EB22 is pin-point accurate (within reason) and is ultra powerful for a pistol. I shot an apple clean in two from 20 feet with no problem what so ever. The CO2 also lasts for longer than the manual tells you, too - even taking into account that I'm using this pistol in the winter. I've been using this pistol in single figure temperatures with 50 decent shots from a single CO2 canister.

Despite this actually turning out to be a great product, I still stand by what I said before about the shoddy build quality. In the last month, I've shot around 300 or so pellets through the EB22 - some of which being rifled .22 - and this seems to be bending the breech slightly out of place. Obviously the left grip is still not quite right, but I'm sure these can be ordered.

It's also only a small thing, but remember to cock the gun twice after inserting a new CO2 canister. In typical Cognition fashion I managed to somehow not be able to work this out. And yes, it;s normal for the first shot from a new canister to be rubbish. You'll know when the power runs out because it's pretty instant - good power one minute and then nothing.

So, I want you to forget my last review and replace it with this one. The EB22 is truely a great pistol - you could call it some kind of pistol / rifle hybrid with the rifled barrel giving you superb accuracy from short to medium ranges. I hearby challenge you to find a problem with this pistol.

Cognition out.
