Good Points

Great for fabrics like velvet and other difficult fabrics. Excellent for sewers but watch the steam - it is really hot. A friend left hers on her ironing board cover soleplate down for an entire weekend. It didn't even scorch it. Mine seems to steam so much that I'm forever running out of steam and refilling the compartment and waiting for the steam pressure to build up. I spend more time waiting than ironing but the ironing that is does do is excellent..


Bad Points

Slow to build up steam pressure. When you're out of steam, you're out of luck. The soleplate isn't hot so does nothing. It is the steam that does the job. It is a heavy iron for those that like lightweight.


General Comments

A bit pricey but so far, my favorite iron and I've had a few expensive ones.
