Good Points

Very accurate rifle. good for training the eye at middle range distances.

Bad Points

Heavy if compared with some new models air rifles, but this is normal after all. For me tough to open the barrel if replacing of parts is needed.

   I agree with most of the points that Nukii says but would make the point that a gun does not have to be light to handle well! Is Nukii male or female? Is it a .22 rifle or a .177 The latter is a much lighter gun to use.

   I am male 28 year old. Well, I am just making a comparison in weight with my SMK XS 19, which I use a lot recently. However, I consider the BSA Airsporter a great rifle.

   Hi there!
   Thanks for your reply, I suppose the more modern rifles have been built with lighter materials. I am not familiar with the rifle that you have. I guess the rifle that I have, which was my Grandfather's was built in the 50's, but still packs a punch. I was interested to read on the USPalma site that you are looking to renovate your Airsporter (the spring I think). Have you managed to do this yet? Anyway good luck!
